FESTIVAL TIME RALLY
Looking for a great holiday or just a few days at the festival? We have just what you want!

For just £7 per van per night plus a £5 rally fee.
Minimum stay 3 nights
Own sanitation essential. No EHU available.
Battery charging is available

Visiting the festival is easy from here - see below for bus details.
Explore the many exhibitions on in town, take in a show or two ranging from classical ballet to fringe comedy, or just wander around the many street events not forgetting the Tattoo. What ever your taste there is plenty to see and do.

If your want a change from the hustle and bustle of the Festival – take a relaxing walk in the grounds, visit the Bistro or Tea room or let the kids loose on the adventure play ground.

Also within a short drive you will find the following - The butterfly farm - Vogrie Country park – The Scottish Mining Museum at Lady Victoria Colliery – The old town of Dalkeith to mention just a few. Why not take a run down the coast – Bird watching at Aberlady Bay – Sea and sand at Yellowcraig beach Nr Dirlton – visit North Berwick and take a boat trip round the Bass Rock to see the sea bird colonies.

Buses to town Services 3 or 3A ten minute walk away. Buses every 10 minutes during the day.
Time to centre about 30 mins. Last bus out of town about 11.30 pm
Alternatively take a ten minute drive to Sherriffhall Park & Ride and catch the service 33
Cost Adult single £1.40 Child single £0.70 or get an all day run-about Adults £3.50, Children £2.00
If you really want to paint the town red there is the N3 night bus 15minutes past the hour from opposite Waverly steps. Cost £3 a head all night no concessions, day time runabouts not valid on these buses

Important Message

At the 2011 East of Scotland Centre AGM advice was sought on the current situation as to provision of Fire Extinguishers on Centre Rallies.
The advice we have been given is as follows:
Health and Safety at Work Act does not apply to Ralliers. We are not required to supply Fire Extinguishers on Rallies and if we opt to do so, we leave ourselves open to litigation for any accident or incident that may occur in their use or misuse. Every intended user would require training on the correct use of the equipment.
Further safety implications were raised regarding the transportation of these items to and from venues, given the weight and size of these items.
A Centre Committee meeting was held on 4th October 2011 and this subject was discussed. It was decided that following advice received from Scottish Caravan Club and Caravan Club, Fire Extinguishers will no longer be supplied by East of Scotland Centre for use on any of their events.
If however, an event is held at a venue where this type of safety equipment is provided by that venue, it is at the risk of the user to evaluate the situation and decide whether they can safely use the equipment without endangering themselves or others.
We strongly advise and encourage that all members attending East of Scotland Centre events make their own safety provisions, personal fire extinguishers, fire blanket or fire buckets to be filled with water at the venue.
Fire Extinguishers will not be supplied for East of Scotland Centre events forthwith.
