Chairman's Message.

As we leave Christmas and New Year as distant memories, we can look forward to 2012 and the prospect of attending some new venues for the Centre. Old friends will be there for sure and hopefully we will see some Members who have never been to a Centre event before. I guarantee a warm and friendly welcome will await you.

At the end of January, East Centre held its annual Dinner Dance at the Holiday Inn, Edinburgh City West. Louise and I had a great time. I was delighted to see an increase in numbers from last year. Thanks to Liz Ross and her Social Committee for all their work in making it such and enjoyable evening.

As time marches on, the Spring Social will be upon us in no time. It will be held on Saturday 10th March 2012 and will be at Dalmahoy Church Hall. A rally is being held at Linwater Caravan Park to support the event. Contact details can be found on the 'Rallies' page.

Looking a little further into the future, West of Scotland Centre will be hosting the Scottish National at Lanark Race Course. I would like to see a good turn out from East Centre Members.

Soon we will be thinking about different destinations and booking the summer holidays, don't forget the Centre's holiday rallies.

The season is just beginning and my handbook is certainly well thumbed! So many choices to be made. Louise and I look forward to seeing you all on the field, and meeting those of you who are attending one of our events for the first time.
